Mitchell R. Lindsay

Founder & Managing Principal

Mitchell Lindsay is the Founder and Managing Principal of Lanark Development, bringing over a decade of experience in commercial real estate development and delivering successful projects across California. His portfolio spans diverse asset types, including healthcare facilities, life sciences, Medical Office Buildings (MOB), and retail properties. His expertise covers investment underwriting, finance and accounting, land entitlements, and ground-up development.

Prior to founding Lanark, Mitchell worked at Sterling Project Development (SPD) in their Development Advisory Group, where he was responsible for providing advisory services to clients in the financial sector, overseeing their California project pipeline. He was actively involved in the project evaluation process, advising clients on budget and schedule assumptions, entitlements, and construction risks. Mitchell supported over 1.9 million square feet of new construction, with project budgets exceeding $1 billion, delivering strategies to mitigate exposure during pre-development and construction.

Before joining SPD, Mitchell worked at CIM Group, a large-scale real estate investment and development firm headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. While at CIM, he was actively involved in managing self-performed development projects across their full lifecycle, including entitlements, design, construction, and lease-up. He contributed to over 400,000 square feet of development, with project budgets exceeding $100 million.

Mitchell leads real estate initiatives that help healthcare providers expand their reach, adapt to market needs, and improve patient care through collaborative partnerships and strategic investments. He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in urban planning and economics from Loyola Marymount University.

Randy Lewis

Project Executive

Randy Lewis is the Project Executive at Lanark Development, with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. His expertise spans pre-construction budgeting, design-build processes, negotiations, value engineering, and construction management. Randy has extensive experience in healthcare real estate, leveraging strong subcontractor and vendor relationships to deliver high-quality, efficient healthcare facilities.

He holds California licenses, including Classifications A (General Engineering Contractor), B (General Building Contractor), and C-9 (Drywall Contractor). Randy’s leadership is instrumental in Lanark Development’s mission to create effective facilities that enhance community care environments.

Chance R. Anderson, M.D., M.S.

Healthcare Consultant

Dr. Chance R. Anderson is a distinguished emergency physician and healthcare consultant specializing in emergency and behavioral health services. With extensive frontline experience in stabilizing acute medical and behavioral emergencies, Dr. Anderson is dedicated to improving healthcare access for underserved populations. In 2024, he was appointed as a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UCLA and leads Redwing Healthcare Advisors, where he provides strategic guidance on healthcare operations and patient care, including navigating Public-Private Partnership (P3) models to enhance healthcare delivery and optimize resources effectively.

An accomplished academic, Dr. Anderson has published extensively on microbiology, immunology, emergency medicine, and healthcare disparities. He holds a Bachelor’s in Microbiology from UC Davis, a Master’s in Biology from California State University, Los Angeles, and completed his Medical Degree and Emergency Medicine Residency at UC Davis and LAC+USC Medical Center.
